Do you have a question?

Send your question to Robert McCormick at rmccormi@purdue.edu.

Q: Why is certain information missing, or a section not complete?

A: LDM is currently in the Beta phase. The site is scheduled for completion in 2010, but should be useful well before then. If you are interested in a particular section please contact us, and we can provide you with more information on the expected completion date.

Q: I am interested in using LDM in my county. Is it possible to arrange an onsite demonstration?

A: Absolutely! Contact Robert McCormick at 1-765-494-3627 to schedule a demonstration.

Q: When I use the interactive map service, the boundaries of two layers don't line up with each other. Is one of them wrong?

A: Data is created at different times, at different scales, and for different purposes. There is some amount of error inherent in all data (points, lines, polygons, and imagery), and in some instances it is more noticeable. If the data does not "look" perfect, but it still answers your question or meets your needs then it should be used. Please contact us if you are unsure if you should use a certain dataset.
